Dog Admission​

Your cuddly canine companion is welcome to join us!

We’re thrilled to invite furry friends of all breeds and sizes to join us for our festival! Please keep in mind that only dogs are allowed on the premises. All pups must be at least 6 months old to attend. We welcome dogs every day of our festival, and we can’t wait to meet your beloved pooch!

Don't forget to fill out the dog registration form. Once you arrive, head to the pet registration booth located next to the box office to submit it.

Daily General Admission Fees

are only available for purchase at the dog registration booth (located next to the box office).

To bring your dog to the festival, please adhere to the following terms:

  1. Registration: Complete the Dog Registration Form (DOWNLOAD FORM).

  2. Fee: A $10 fee per dog is required if you bring your own photo. If we need to take a photo of your dog, an additional $5 will be charged.

  3. Vaccination Proof: Provide proof of up-to-date vaccinations.

  4. Pet Registration: Visit the Pet Registration booth before entering the festival.

  5. Allowed Pets: Only dogs are permitted within the festival gates. No other pets are allowed.

  6. Leash Requirements: Dogs must be on a leash at all times, with leashes not exceeding 4 feet in length.

  7. Clean-Up: Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs.

  8. Friendly and Well-Behaved: Dogs should be friendly, well-behaved, and not disruptive to other festival-goers or performers.

  9. One Dog Per Owner: Only one dog per owner is allowed.

  10. Accidents: Report any accidents to first aid immediately.

  11. Festival Tag: All dogs must wear a visible festival tag at all times.

  12. Age Restriction: Puppies under 6 months old are not permitted.

  13. Service Animals: Service animals are admitted according to ADA regulations.

Service Dog Owners:

  • Service dog owners are not required to fill out the registration form, register, sign in, or pay the pet fee.
  • Service dogs may enter through any gate.
  • Service dogs must wear a collar with appropriate proof of vaccinations if required.

Note: Misrepresenting a pet as a service dog is unlawful.

Please note that the management of the Festival cannot be held responsible for any accidents, theft, or loss that may occur to any individual while on the premises, or while entering or exiting said premises. Kindly be aware that commercial photography and filming may take place during the Festival, and any resulting pictures or films may be used for various purposes, such as advertising, news reporting, or entertainment. By purchasing your admission ticket and entering the Festival, you hereby agree to allow the Michigan Renaissance Festival to use any pictures or films taken of you for these purposes.
